My primary motivation for going into coaching was to help people live a life of passion -- to help them create not just better lives but to start living their most passionate vision for their lives. For me, living with passion during the journey we call life is more important than brief moments of happiness. I have been incredibly blessed to have discovered many different driving sparks in my life and I am even more fortunate to be able to have found a career that utilizes many of these on a daily basis.
I feel passion is one of the major components of a life worth living. Recently, I have had some prospective clients come to me feeling stuck in their lives. When asked how they first knew they were at a standstill, they cited a lack of passionate motivation towards something (or everything) in their lives.
When you have enthusiasm towards something (in my case coaching and Lifestyle Design), you have an overzealous fondness towards that passion. People can see and hear the excitement and electricity when you talk about it. Your fervor for something often fuels you with energy and allows for an openness to possibilities previously unfelt or unseen.
This is what I want people to feel towards their lives and careers -- passion towards the next day and the days that follow for the rest of their lives.
