Being an entrepreneur or being a romantic partner of an entrepreneur takes an already stressful and complicated situation to an entirely different level of complexity.  It often brings unique issues and challenges into your lives and your relationship. There can be a lot of uncertainty for both partners when creating a business and it is very common to see the business as the main problem but what I've found is that it is actually rarely the case.

Entrepreneurship can be extremely isolating for the both of you, not to mention very risky. Few people can relate well, unless they have been in the same situation. Being an entrepreneur has a lot of unique elements, even more if you work your business inside your home. There is a lot of responsibility on the entrepreneur's shoulders but it's often even more difficult for the partner. They are often left in the dark, for fear they may not understand and relate or maybe to keep from giving them additional stress.

Entrepreneurial couples need coping skills, open communication, better conflict resolution and proper planning to make it all work well. Couples that I have coached together have found great value in having a third person to assist them.  Not only are we navigating these challenges, but also planning and setting goals for both of their futures, together and separately. Working as a team is the only way to thrive in both life and business. My coaching helps you get on the same page and succeed in life and in the business together. I understand, I've been there. I run my business from my home and my husband and I have always had a business as part of our relationship. I have found that I have a special knack for coaching couples that find themselves struggling to make both the business and the relationship a success but also just allowing space for the partner to become an integral part of the process.
